Celebrities who use chiropractors

Chiropractic is a safe, drug-free alternative to curing various illnesses. This practice is known to remove the restriction in the nervous system thus allowing the body to function at its optimal capacity. Many people choose to have drug-free treatment associated with body pain. The popularity of Chiropractic is on the rise over the past few years. Experts even projected this number to grow in the future. More so that many celebrities openly endorsed the benefits of chiropractic treatment. Here are some of the celebrities who publicized their chiropractic treatments.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold Schwarzenegger won the hearts of California people and was elected as their governor. He was a bodybuilder and holds 13 world titles in his belt. His chosen sport put a lot of stress on the musculoskeletal system. Arnold initially came across with chiropractic when he was still training in the 1970s. Since then, he openly talked about his chiropractic experience with the world.   For him, “This is how I found out the best way of going, is to use chiropractors, not only after injuries but also before injury. I depend on chiropractic and so does my whole family. That’s what chiropractors do, take care of people like no other kind of healer.”

Mel Gibson

A well-known international actor, Mel Gibson captured the world’s attention on his role in the hit series Lethal Weapon in the 1980s. He later won an Academy Award for Braveheart. He met some unfortunate controversial in his career in the 2000s but came back on track with the Oscar-nominated Hacksaw Ridge. Starring in many Hollywood movies, he first encountered chiropractic while filming The Patriot. Gibson was intrigued on the technique saying “I got a chiropractor to come along to the [Patriot] shoot because they can actually stick you back together within 15 minutes. He spent a week and worked on the entire crew. All the stunt guys were like, ‘Oh, fix my disc.’ The guy’s amazing.”

Cindy Crawford

Cindy Crawford came from an ordinary middle-class family but soon rise to stardom. She was a class valedictorian at her high school. She dropped from college to pursue modeling and eventually become successful in her chosen career.  The supermodel rose to fame thanks to her athletic body and classy American looks.  Even though she has tight schedule, she regularly sees her chiropractor.  Crawford once said in an interview, “Once we had Presley and Kaia it was only natural to have regular chiropractic check-ups after they were born and go for regular check-ups to keep them healthy.”

Montell Williams

Montell Williams becomes a household name in the US after launching his talk show in 1991, The Montel Williams Show. The show ran for a long 17 seasons which earned him an Emmy. Williams started out as a regular guy, a son of a fire chief and had military career. He left the service to work as a full-time motivational speaker. The TV talk show host usually suffers from body pain throughout his career. However, instead of getting pain reliever prescriptions he turned to chiropractic treatment. He claimed that “It’s the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me! I am walking differently, my pain is less, and I’ve already regained strength in my left leg.”

Cher

Cher is a multi-talented artist and actress who garnered international fame because of her dance hit songs. She even won an Oscar for her acting in the film “Moonstruck”. Because of her talent, she becomes famous alongside with her husband Sonny Bono in the 1960s.  Some of her hits songs include "I Got You Babe", "Half-Breed" and "Dark Lady." She was known to have a private chiropractor, "Thank God I have a great chiropractor. I wish I'd never introduced him to Madonna and Janet and Tina. Now I have to share him."

Liza Minnelli

The daughter of Judy Garland and Vicente Minnelli, Liza was literally raised at MGM studios. At age fourteen she debuted in the film “In the Good Old Summertime” in 1949.  Two years after, she was living on her own in New York City to start her career in the show business. Since then, she earned some astounding stage performances and continues to create song albums to this day. Liza relies on chiropractic to “to keep in shape for my strenuous type of acting and singing.”
